.....and, we are live. Check out the review Eclectic Agenda gave our ticketing software, Crowded Fire:
Alex R.M. Turner and Jennifer Edwards (Ed) from Janda Tech, LLC have developed a unique ticketing software system that allows me to avoid using awkward 3rd party sites whose creators have never felt Funkworks Bass go WUB WUB and wouldn't even know their goggles from their Vix inhalers or how to find the toilets again.
If you want those kinda n00bs, like th...e ones over at Stubnub and Eventbites taking cream off the top without even liking the milk, and pooping on themselves just a dozen feet away from the porta potties, well be my guest.
Personally, I'm not having it.
Being able to work directly with the people who will be overseeing the ticket sales for my event is only made that much better by the fact they they are as excited to attend it as I am. Feel free to send them a message about any kind of event you're thinking of planning and you'll meet two friendly, intelligent people who know what they're doing and can't wait to see your headliner.

We hope to see you there; should be a great party!

Date: 2014-04-25 03:07 am (UTC)If I may offer one small tidbit of advice... Many ticket systems for burns have crashed and burned over the years under load. I don't expect that yours will, and I don't know anything about your code base, but I've always thought that if asked, our community would be willing to load test these systems to help identify problems before they occur, so that they're happier later.
I might be wrong about that - people might not actually show if you ask for a test run - but I've always thought it would be a good idea (given the ethos of our community) and yet few have seemed to think it necessary.
As an aside, I admit to knowing nothing about the direction you're heading with this and understand that your system may never come under these heavy loads, but I thought it worth mentioning.
Again, congrats on your launch! Champagne for all!
