One of the great ironies of keeping any type of journal is that, when the most exciting things are happening, there is no time for writing them down.

Life is happily chaotic at the moment, filled with working, unpacking, and socializing. I will try my best to finish the trip update soon, and post some pictures. :) Adios!

This apartment venture is proving to be quite an experience. I have never had to set up utilities in my name or smooze a landlord. I've never had to move alone. Last time I did this, I was with friends and I was not the one who dealt with the money directly. I will be living in a strange place alone for a month until drexplosivo gets here. It is exciting and scary all at once. It's also my last chance to live alone, so I'd better relish it while I can!

Also, if anyone is interested in trading pizza and beer for manual labor, the big day is Tuesday, May 1st. :)
